Nov 27th, 2008 by Alan Chai

After the long hour shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlet, we proceed to Tokyo Shinjuku to have panoramic view of the city from the Observatories Desk at Metropolitan Government Building.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings are the center of administrative work for Tokyo, Japan’s capital city. Various offices from police and fire departments to education are located in the buildings to provide information and necessary materials to visitors and to handle various paperwork and consultations for the citizens of Tokyo.

There are observatories on the 45th floors of both its north and south towers, at a height of 663 ft/202 m. On the observation rooms, there is a small cafe and souvenir stands for tourists.

Shots above are taken at the 45th floors Observatories. If you know what you’re looking at. Mount Fuji, to the west-southwest, is usually obscured by haze, but its silhouette is often visible at sunset in winter.
Thereafter, enjoy shopping around this busiest shinjuku district.
